D'Dmas

Anyone seen that D'Dmas Collection G add? In which the lady tells us in details what she would like? When asked by a waiter?
Aren't adds supposed to entice people? Aren't they supposed to be alluring?
This is...i mean, words fail me.

I find the Fanta ad excruciatingly irritating.
The most irritating one was for some car, and featured a couple (looking like brain-dead phenylketoneurics) driving about in this shiny new automobile, and eventually having a candle light dinner. I wonder: did they want to advertise the merits of candle-light dinners? Or was it actually a car ad?

No.(In answer to the first line of your blog.)

Oh, wait, I HAVE seen the add!..It fails me, really!..I don't get it, although it is a bit hilarious. The lady's outburst is the result of the d'dmas necklace, is it?

yes, as if she got the inspiration to talk out loud from the jewelery. The add is a good example of stupidity and pointlessness.

the way she ends-"oh my god!" Ew.

I dislike the Tata Sky ads as well. Amir Khan is irritating to the point of earnestness.

I love the Vodafone adds, and the Airtel adds have good music in them. A.R.Rahman after all.

The Vodafone, the airtel, and then some of the banks and LICs have good adds. The most terrible adds can be attributed to "Fair and Lovely" and KFC(where Muralitharan licks his fingers before bowling.)

Well, I think the moral of the ad was "However idiotic you are, you are always going to be clapped at if you wear D'Dmas jwellery"...wasn't it?

@ Timmy
Do i sound/write/look like i care? Its a stupid add through and through.
The adds about retirement plans and life insurance are fun to watch. And Hey Rohan, tata sky adds aren't that bad are they? They are okay...
