Differently Natural.

I was staring at the sky. I saw a Jet Plane. Sure looked like it was in a hurry. I noticed the contrail. There were two, in fact. Two long trails of smoke. The Plane faded into insignificance. The smoke was all that mattered. It gradually expanded, slowly, taking its time. Then, it was one big trail of smoke. The jet plane was out of sight. There was a long streak of smoke dividing the sky into something and something. Then, it gradually expanded into a shapeless cloud of smoke and finally disintegrated. All that remained, was a vague memory of a whitish streak in the foreground of the sky. And then the blue became black. And something told me it was time.
By the way, jets were invented by men. So, the smoke wasnt natural. It was unbelievable, really.

This post of you is eerily reminiscent of some Kafkaesque stuff.
It's a very evocative, delicate, expressive post. "...it gradually expanded into a shapeless cloud of smoke and finally disintegrated"- wow, that's one smoking hell of an observation.

Thank you. It was a remarkable observation, if i may say so myself.

Jet Plane? I think you could have thought of a better title, deer. YOU could have.
You sure DO love contrails, as you smsed. You wrote a blog about it! I really like "There was a long streak of smoke dividing the sky into something and something. Then, it gradually expanded into a shapeless cloud of smoke and finally disintegrated. All that remained, was a vague memory of a whitish streak in the foreground of the sky. And then the blue became black. And something told me its time." Shouldn't it have been "...it WAS time", though?
Kafkaesque is right! But I think you could have made it more so.

Thi isn't your best post, somehow. Though i liked the spontaneity.

yes, i didn't like the title either. But, er, i was in a hurry. Couldn't really put the finishing touches.

@Rohan, Ravis: Never heard of Franz Kafka or read any of his works. You suggest i read his works?
"marked by a senseless, disorienting, often menacing complexity"(wiki)--sounds attractive.

:D
You changed the title?
I feel so important! *grin*

(and in case you're going to call it presumption, let me add that i know you'd have changed it anyway!)

I havent read any of his works either. I too have only read the term "Kafkaesque".

Try 'America' if you can. Its the most accessible of his works.
I find Kafka a bit too weird actually. Call me a philistine if you will, but I'll take Lovecraft over Kafka any day. Kafka keeps making me feel sick.
